Blessing of the Animals — October 11

Sunday, October 11 | Old Whalers’ Church

Join us for a special Sunday celebrating children, animals, curiosity, and the wonder all around us.

Our 10:00 AM service will mark the beginning of our Wonder Sunday children’s program with the beloved story of Frederick by Leo Lionni, magnifying glasses, stuffed animals, and an invitation for children and grown-ups alike to slow down, look closely, and rediscover the wonder in ordinary things.

The celebration continues with the ice cream truck at 11:15 AM, including pup cups for our four-legged friends, followed by our outdoor Blessing of the Animals at 11:45 AM.

Bring a stuffed animal to church, bring your pets for the blessing, and come with your questions, curiosity, and sense of wonder.
